COVID-19 Preventative Treatment (Evusheld)

Evusheld is a pre-exposure treatment for COVID-19 for individuals who are NOT currently infected. If you are immunocompromised or otherwise unable to receive a COVID-19 vaccination, you may be eligible for Evusheld. Once you complete the booking form, a pharmacist will evaluate your information and determine if you meet the requirements to be prescribed Evusheld.

Due to temporary renovations in the pharmacy, your treatment will be administered in your own home. Once you are approved to receive treatment, a member of our staff will contact you and arrange for a pharmacist to travel to your location.

Make an appointment online or call the pharmacy if you are interested in receiving Evusheld.

How does Evusheld work?

Evusheld is a combination of two monoclonal antibodies. In immunocompromised patients, a vaccination may not generate enough immune response, so they are still vulnerable to severe infection. Evusheld gives additional immunity to help prevent COVID-19.

Who is eligible to receive Evusheld?

Individuals age 12 years and older (weighing at least
88lbs) who are not currently infected with SARSCoV-2 and who have not had a known exposure to an individual infected with SARS-CoV-2 within 14 days of treatment AND

• Who are moderate to severe immune
compromised due to a medical condition or
receipt of immunosuppressive medications or
treatments and may not mount an adequate
immune response to COVID-19 vaccination OR

• For whom vaccination with any available
COVID-19 vaccine, according to the approved
or authorized schedule, is not recommended
due to a history of severe adverse reaction to a
COVID-19 vaccine(s) and/or COVID-19 vaccine
component(s).

Who is NOT eligible?

Evusheld is not authorized for use in individuals:
• For treatment of COVID-19, or
• For post-exposure prophylaxis of COVID-19 in
individuals who have been exposed to someone
infected with SARS-CoV-2
