CPhT Pharmacy Technician
Pharmacy technicians will work with the pharmacists to help prepare and give out prescription medication to customers. Responsibilities include taking prescription information over the phone and in person, working with health professionals and customers, assembling and distributing medications, maintaining pharmacy inventory, and other duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager. Requires certification through the Institute for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ICPT), or the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) within 30 days of accepting employment. Springfield Pharmacy is currently seeking a full-time technician (but will consider part-time). The ideal candidate for this position would have a Pharmacy Technician Certification and experience working as a pharmacy technician. You will be responsible for greeting each customer, processing their prescriptions and giving friendly, efficient service. Additional responsibilities include:
Ensure prompt service by assisting customers and operating the cash register.
Accept customer and prescription information
Retrieve the appropriate medication from inventory, fill, and label prescriptions.
Assist with maintaining the pharmacy by keeping it clean and in order.
Retrieve discontinued or expired medications from stock and patient areas; discard or return to stock as appropriate.
Other duties as determined by the managing pharmacist.

Ability to preserve confidentiality of information. Ability to work occasional weekends. Accuracy and attention to detail are a must. Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects.
Medical Assistant
Medical Assistants will be responsible for helping greet patients coming in for vaccinations and testing services, checking them in, and entering their information into our system. No pharmacy or medical experience is necessary, only a desire to help keep our community safe and healthy. Hours will vary depending on seasonality.
Social Media Guru
We are looking for a social media guru to help grow our social media presence. Applicants must be located locally and be willing to come to the pharmacy to take photos and appear at local clinics and events.
Delivery Driver
A delivery driver will pick up and deliver prescriptions, durable medical equipment (DME), bank deposits, mail, paperwork, misc. items. Other duties may include performing (but not limited to) clerical functions such as going to the bank to make bank deposits and get change orders, taking mail to the post office, delivering gifts, etc. Driver’s license and automobile insurance must be in good standing.
