Are you protected against shingles?
Springfield Pharmacy Vaccine Clinic has been protecting patients against shingles for years. Receiving the shingles vaccine can help reduce your chance of developing shingles. Shingles is caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox. Once you have had chickenpox, the virus stays in your body and can resurface as Shingles. The Shingles rash usually lasts up to 30 days, and for most the pain lessens as the rash heals. But some people who develop Shingles experience long-term nerve pain that can last for months, even years.
If you are interested in receiving the shingles vaccine, please contact the pharmacy to get further information and arrange an appointment.
No matter what international destination you are traveling to, Springfield Pharmacy’s Vaccine Clinic can help you prepare for your trip and give you tips on staying healthy. We will also provide travel and health information for your destination(s). All copies of vaccines administered will be sent to your physician for your medical record.
